Design Drawings + Documentation

  • Visualisations + 3D perspectives to help you visualise the space. There will be no need to second guess design decisions.

  • CAD design documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections and design detail. Your builder and tradespeople will be clear on all the design detail.

  • Lighting + electrical plans for your electrician to make sure that stunning pendant light is installed exactly where it needs to be.

  • Scheduling documentation (specifications list for trades) ensuring no one is in the dark on what fixtures, fittings or finishes go where.

Interior Decoration + Styling

  • Spatial planning + floor plans to create a layout that addresses both aesthetic and function.

how much will the design service cost?

Every fee proposal is personalised.

One of the first and most common questions I am asked is “How much will it cost?” Or “Can you give me a ballpark figure?”

Without understanding the detail of your design needs, this is an impossible question to answer accurately.

To answer this question I, like most qualified and professional interior designers will insist on a Design Brief Consultation to understand your project in detail and establish exactly what your needs are and what the scope of work entails.

This is an onsite consultation and a time for you to tell me about your home and what you’re looking to achieve in terms of style and function. We’ll look at how you use your space and what it needs to function and achieve your desired style. We’ll work our way through each room and establish what you need me to design or specify. I’ll measure up the spaces and take photos on the day.

With all this necessary information around the scope and design services required, I can then prepare an accurate and realistic fixed fee quotation for design based my expertise and the time (hours) your project will take me to complete. My hourly rate is $150.

The Design Brief Consultation is charged at a fixed rate starting from $350-$450.

Please allow up to 2-3 hours. This depends on the size of your project.

Payment is kindly requested 24hrs prior to confirm booking and is non refundable.

YOUR CUSTOM FIXED FEE PROPOSAL

After completing the Design Brief Consultation, I will provide you with a custom proposal within 5-7 business days. It will include the following:

  1. Return Brief (clarity around your project detail)

  2. Scope of Works (exactly what needs to be done + deliverables for each design phase)

  3. Fixed Fee Quotation (fees for each design phase)

  4. Design Agreement and Terms & Conditions.

A fixed fee proposal means you know exactly what your design fees will be upfront and it will be clear what is and isn’t included.
